We have implemented measures compliant with State and Federal guidelines to minimise the potential transmission of COVID-19 in our workplaces.
At VAC Group, we have invested heavily in the research and development of in-house, cutting-edge technologies which have enabled us to remain at the forefront of our industry. Our Earth Radar team successfully created and developed Sparas, Latro, and Utilivision; a sophisticated and world-leading range of trademarked technologies and software for the assessment of surface and subsurface infrastructure that are proudly Australian designed.
The ground penetrating radar (GPR) and surface imaging systems developed by VAC Group’s Earth Radar team provide an unmatched surface penetration, providing the highest quality detail, clarity, and resolution.
Developed by some of the leading minds in the geophysical field with a view to constantly exceed expectations, our Sparas NM-GPR system is capable of being operated along a road network, under naturally occurring conditions at speeds of up to 80 kilometres per hour. Its advanced system can rapidly capture pavement layer thickness and detect potential voids and defects.
The Latro 3D-GPR system has been designed to allow the reality capture of subsurface utility information (SUI) to survey grade accuracies. This process enables our qualified Earth Radar locating technicians to generate more accurate and complete 3D models of subsurface infrastructure when compared to traditional GPR systems.
A ground penetrating radar system capable of rapid data capture at speeds of 80 kilometres per hour and field capable for use in harsh Australian conditions.
Able to rapidly map high-resolution underground features with survey grade accuracy, the Latro is a complete push-cart subsurface reality capture solution.
A software platform created to interpret 3D-GPR (ground penetrating radar) data and effectively utilise it in the generation of high-quality subsurface utility mapping.
The range of VAC Group’s technology-based services, expertly carried out by our Earth Radar team, can be utilised to solve industry driven challenges. From helping to maximise returns through rapid capture of condition data for incorporation into a proactive road network management plan, through to locating, surveying and generating 3D models of existing subsurface utility infrastructure, our clients can reap many benefits from our technology-based services including:
Reduced Risk of Time Overruns
Reduced Overall Project Delivery Costs and Reputation Risk
